A PRIVATE TWO-DAY COACHING INTENSIVE

The Clarity in the Chaos Intensive

Stop trying to solve everything at once.

For overwhelmed Catholic women who need help untangling everything they are carrying, identifying what actually needs their attention, and knowing what to do next.
Apply for the intensive
You have been trying to hold it all together.
  • The responsibilities.
  • The decisions.
  • The emotions you have not had time to process.
  • The needs of the people you love.
  • The problems you can see but do not know how to solve.
  • The circumstances you cannot change, no matter how much you think, pray, plan, or push yourself.
At this point, you may not even know which problem to address first.
Everything feels connected. Everything feels important.
And every time you try to create a plan, your mind fills with even more questions:
  • Am I doing enough?
  • Am I focusing on the wrong thing?
  • Is this something I need to change — or something I need to accept?
  • Is God asking me to persevere, set a boundary, let something go, or take the next small step?
You do not need another generic list of ways to “manage stress.”
You need protected space to lay everything out, understand what is actually contributing to your overwhelm, and receive personalized help determining what comes next.

That is what we will do together inside The Clarity in the Chaos Intensive.

Apply for the intensive

You are not failing. You are trying to process too much at once.

Overwhelm is not always a time-management problem.
Sometimes it is what happens when you are simultaneously carrying:
  • Several real problems that need to be solved
  • Painful circumstances that cannot currently be changed
  • Decisions you are afraid to make incorrectly
  • Emotions you have been pushing aside
  • Other people's needs, opinions, and expectations
  • Guilt about your own limitations
  • Fear that taking care of yourself will let someone else down
  • Pressure to remain faithful, grateful, productive, and emotionally steady through all of it
When all of these things become tangled together, every problem can begin to feel equally urgent.
You may bounce between tasks without completing the things that matter most.
You may spend hours thinking without reaching a decision.
You may become emotionally reactive over something small because you have been holding too much for too long.
You may avoid a conversation, responsibility, or decision because you do not have the capacity to figure out where to begin.
Or you may keep pushing yourself harder while quietly becoming more exhausted, resentful, discouraged, or disconnected from God.

You know something needs to change, but….

You simply cannot see the path clearly from inside the chaos.

AFTER TWO DAYS

Imagine knowing what actually deserves your energy

Imagine reaching the end of two days with:
  • A clearer understanding of what is creating the most pressure in your life
  • The ability to separate your thoughts, emotions, needs, responsibilities, and fears
  • Clarity about which problems are within your control
  • Greater acceptance of what cannot be immediately fixed
  • One primary area to focus on instead of ten competing priorities
  • One to three realistic next steps you can begin taking
  • A plan for responding when overwhelm starts building again
  • Greater confidence that you are not neglecting everything simply because you cannot address everything at once
You may not leave with every circumstance resolved.
But you will no longer be standing in front of one enormous, tangled problem labeled “my entire life.”
We will sort through it together.
You will begin to see what requires action, what requires support, what requires acceptance, and what does not need to be carried right now.
Apply for the intensive

This is not another productivity session

I am not going to give you a prettier to-do list and send you back into the same unsustainable life.
We will look beneath your schedule.
We will explore what is happening emotionally, mentally, practically, relationally, and spiritually.
Together, we will identify:

What needs to be solved

These are the problems that are within your influence and require a decision, conversation, boundary, system, request for help, or concrete action.

What needs to be felt and supported

Some emotions do not disappear because you created a better schedule. You may need space to acknowledge grief, disappointment, fear, anger, loneliness, or exhaustion before you can think clearly about what comes next.

What needs to be accepted or carried differently

Some circumstances are painful and genuinely outside your control. We will not pretend they do not matter. We will identify ways to cope with them more effectively so they do not consume all of the energy you need for the parts of life you can influence.

What needs to be released

You may be carrying expectations, guilt, responsibilities, imagined outcomes, or other people’s reactions that were never fully yours to control.

What deserves your attention now

You will decide what matters most in this season — not according to pressure, panic, or perfectionism, but according to your real responsibilities, values, capacity, and priorities.
This is not about fixing your whole life in two days.

It is about creating enough clarity to stop spinning and start moving.

INSIDE THE INTENSIVE

What we will do together

BEFORE WE BEGIN

The Clarity Assessment

Before our first coaching session, you will complete a focused intake and reflection process. This will help you begin identifying:
  • What feels heaviest right now
  • The decisions or problems repeatedly occupying your mind
  • The areas in which you feel stuck
  • What you have already tried
  • The circumstances you can and cannot control
  • What you most need clarity about during our time together
You do not need to organize everything perfectly before submitting it. Helping you organize the chaos is part of the work.
DAY ONE · PRIVATE 90-MINUTE COACHING SESSION

Untangle what you are carrying

During our first session, you will have space to talk through what has been happening without needing to package it into a neat explanation.
I will help you slow everything down and begin separating:
  • Facts from fears
  • Problems from painful emotions
  • Responsibilities from unnecessary guilt
  • Needs from impulsive urges
  • What is within your control from what is outside it
  • What needs immediate attention from what can wait
  • What you believe you "should" do from what is actually realistic
We will identify the patterns keeping you mentally and emotionally stuck. These might include:
  • Trying to solve several problems simultaneously
  • Believing everything is equally urgent
  • Overthinking because you are afraid of making the wrong choice
  • Waiting to feel completely certain before acting
  • Neglecting your needs until you become depleted
  • Avoiding difficult conversations
  • Taking responsibility for other people's emotions
  • Expecting yourself to function as though your difficult circumstances are not affecting you
  • Using constant activity to avoid painful feelings
  • Becoming paralyzed because the ideal solution is not currently possible
By the end of Day One, you will have a much clearer picture of what is actually happening beneath your overwhelm. But we will not rush from insight directly into another demanding action plan.
BETWEEN SESSIONS

Guided reflection and personalized exercises

After our first session, you will receive guided reflection prompts and exercises chosen according to what emerged during our conversation. These may help you:
  • Process an emotion that has been clouding your thinking
  • Identify the need beneath a recurring emotional reaction
  • Examine an unhelpful belief or expectation
  • Clarify a difficult decision
  • Consider where a boundary or request for support may be needed
  • Separate what you can influence from what you cannot control
  • Notice which responsibilities are draining the most energy
  • Identify what God may be inviting you to practice in this season
You will also receive brief teaching and guidance to help you understand the patterns we identify without overwhelming you with more information.
DAY TWO · PRIVATE 90-MINUTE COACHING SESSION

Discern your next steps

During our second session, we will turn what you uncovered into a clear and compassionate way forward. Together, we will determine:
  • What problem or priority needs your attention first
  • What you can stop trying to solve right now
  • What action is realistic within your current capacity
  • Which conversations, boundaries, requests, or decisions may be needed
  • How you can care for your emotional and spiritual needs while continuing to meet your responsibilities
  • What to do when circumstances remain outside your control
  • How to recognize when you are slipping back into the same overwhelm cycle
  • What support will help you follow through after the intensive ends
You will leave with one to three clearly defined next steps rather than another sprawling list of everything you could possibly improve.

The plan will be designed around your actual life — not an imaginary version in which you have unlimited time, energy, money, help, and emotional capacity.

Apply for the intensive

You will leave with your personalized Clarity Plan

At the end of the intensive, you will have a clear summary of what we uncovered and what comes next. Your plan will include:
  • The primary sources of your current overwhelm
  • The patterns that have been keeping you stuck
  • What is within your control
  • What is outside your control
  • What needs action
  • What needs acceptance, support, grief, or compassion
  • Your most important priority for this season
  • Your next one to three steps
  • Tools for responding when overwhelm begins building again
Instead of trying to remember everything we discussed, you will have a personalized guide you can return to when your mind starts filling with competing demands again.
Apply for the intensive

This intensive may be right for you if…

  • You are an overwhelmed Catholic woman trying to carry too many emotional, practical, relational, or vocational concerns at once
  • You feel mentally scattered and cannot determine where to begin
  • You are facing several problems or decisions that have become tangled together
  • You have spent a great deal of time thinking but still do not feel clear
  • You need help separating what you can control from what you cannot
  • You want practical support that also respects your Catholic faith
  • You want to care for your needs without abandoning your responsibilities
  • You are tired of living in reaction mode
  • You are ready to participate honestly in the coaching process
  • You are willing to take small, realistic action rather than waiting for a perfect solution
  • You understand that clarity does not always mean certainty
  • You want help discerning your next faithful step — not having someone else make your decisions for you
Apply for the intensive

This is probably not the right fit if…

This intensive is not designed to provide mental health treatment, trauma therapy, spiritual direction, emergency intervention, or ongoing crisis support. It is not the appropriate service if you:
  • Are currently experiencing a mental health emergency
  • Are at risk of harming yourself or another person
  • Need immediate, continuous, or 24-hour support
  • Need diagnosis or treatment for a mental health condition
  • Are seeking trauma processing or specialized clinical treatment
  • Need someone to assess your physical or psychiatric symptoms
  • Are looking for someone else to make major life decisions for you
  • Want definitive answers about God's will or expect me to speak on God's behalf
  • Need legal, medical, financial, or marital counseling
  • Expect every problem in your life to be resolved within two days
  • Are not currently able to engage in reflection, decision-making, or follow-through
If your needs fall outside the scope of coaching, I may recommend that you seek support from an appropriately licensed or specialized professional instead. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, contact local emergency services or call or text 988 in the United States for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

This is coaching, not therapy

My approach is shaped by my education and previous professional experience as a licensed mental health counselor, along with my work integrating practical psychological tools with the Catholic faith.
However, I am providing this intensive solely in my role as a coach and educator.
During the intensive, I may use coaching questions, behavior-change tools, emotional-regulation strategies, reflection exercises, decision-making frameworks, faith-informed practices, and practical problem-solving.
I will not:
  • Diagnose or treat a mental health condition
  • Provide psychotherapy
  • Process trauma as a therapist
  • Create a clinical treatment plan
  • Provide crisis assessment or emergency intervention
  • Replace your therapist, physician, psychiatrist, or spiritual director
You may participate in this intensive while also working with a therapist or another licensed professional, provided the purpose and boundaries of each relationship remain clear.
Apply for the intensive

Faith-informed without spiritually bypassing your struggle

You may be deeply faithful and still feel overwhelmed.
You may trust God and still struggle to make a decision.
You may believe your suffering has meaning and still need support carrying it.
You may know that you are called to love and serve others while also recognizing that your current way of serving is leaving you depleted, reactive, or resentful.
Inside this intensive, we can make room for:
  • Your relationship with God
  • Prayer and discernment
  • The responsibilities of your vocation
  • Your desire to grow in virtue
  • The crosses you cannot simply remove
  • Your human limitations
  • Your emotional and practical needs
  • The psychological patterns affecting your ability to move forward
You will not be told to simply pray harder, think more positively, ignore your emotions, or offer up every problem without also discerning what may need to change.

We can honor the reality of your cross without assuming that every source of suffering must remain exactly as it is.

Why work with Samantha?

I bring together two worlds that are too often separated.
I understand the value of practical psychological tools: learning to regulate emotions, challenge unhelpful thoughts, identify needs, change behavior, communicate clearly, and distinguish what is within our control.
I also understand that, for a Catholic woman, decisions are rarely only practical.
  • You care about being faithful to the Lord.
  • You care about your vocation(s) in this life.
  • You care about loving the people God has entrusted to you.
  • You care about whether your decisions reflect trust, charity, wisdom, courage, humility, and appropriate self-sacrifice.
My role is not to hand you the answer.

My role is to help you understand what is happening clearly enough that you can make a grounded, faithful, and responsible decision about what comes next.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?

Nope! You should have a general sense of what specifically feels overwhelming, but you do not need to identify the “real problem” before we begin. Helping you make sense of what feels tangled is the purpose of the intensive.

What kinds of concerns can we work through?

This intensive can be useful when overwhelm is connected to areas such as: Family or caregiving responsibilities; work or business decisions; vocational discernment; boundaries and difficult relationships; a demanding season of life; conflicting priorities; emotional exhaustion; self-care and personal limits; overthinking or decision paralysis; problems within your control; and circumstances you need help coping with. The intensive is not intended for emergencies, diagnosis, clinical treatment, or concerns requiring a licensed specialist.

Will you tell me what decision to make?

No, it’s my strong belief that only you know yourself best! I will help you clarify the facts, emotions, needs, fears, values, responsibilities, options, and potential consequences involved. I may offer observations, challenge assumptions, identify patterns, and help you consider possibilities you have not yet seen. But you will always maintain autonomy for the path you choose going forward from our sessions together.

Is this spiritual direction?

No. Your faith can be meaningfully integrated into our work, but coaching is not a substitute for spiritual direction, pastoral care, or sacramental guidance. When appropriate, I may encourage you to bring explicitly theological or spiritual questions to a trusted priest or qualified spiritual director. If you are open to it, I may remind you of the rich traditions within the Catholic faith or encourage you to utilize sacramentals to help you on your journey going forward, but these reminders in and of themselves are not spiritual direction.

Do I need two completely free days?

Nope! The intensive is designed to fit within two days rather than occupy every hour of them. You will need to protect time for your two 90-minute coaching sessions, your guided reflection between sessions, and enough mental space to engage meaningfully with the process.

Will two days be enough?

Two days will not resolve every difficult circumstance or completely transform every long-standing pattern. But two focused days can be enough to see the real problem more clearly, stop trying to solve everything simultaneously, make a decision you have been postponing, and choose your next one to three steps.

What happens after the intensive?

You will leave with your personalized Clarity Plan and the next steps you can continue implementing independently. When appropriate and available, you may also choose to apply for ongoing coaching support.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO FIGURE EVERYTHING OUT TODAY

But you do need a place to begin.

You need to know which problem deserves your attention.
You need to know what is actually yours to carry.
You need to know where action is possible — and how to care for yourself when the circumstances are outside your control.
You need a next step that does not require you to become a completely different person or suddenly acquire unlimited capacity.
For two days, you will have a private space to stop holding everything alone.
We will untangle the thoughts, emotions, problems, expectations, and responsibilities that have been competing for your attention.
Then we will build a clear, compassionate, and realistic way forward.
You may not be able to change everything.

But you can become clear about what comes next.

The world needs what you have to offer it, dear friend. Let's get you out from underneath that heavy burden holding you back. 🙏💙
12 years ago yesterday, I entered the Catholic chu 12 years ago yesterday, I entered the Catholic church and received the sacraments of first Communion and Confirmation. 🙏

Every year, this day makes me pause.
Because when I look back on my faith journey since then... It definitely has not been linear.

There have been moments of deep closeness of Jesus, especially in the Eucharist. These were moments where trusting Him felt easy and natural, almost overflowing.

And there have also been seasons of serious pain and suffering. Everything felt heavy, confusing, and isolating. These were moments where I questioned God and began to feel a divide in my relationship with Him.

I thought, "How could a loving God allow such pain in my life?" My human brain couldn't understand.

I've lived both of these.

I've had seasons where my pain led me to pulling away, where it felt easier to shut down and cope with unhealthy things, than to bring it to Him.

And I've had seasons where, by grace and my education, I learned to bring everything to Him instead. I figured out how to offer my suffering to Him and say before I even felt fully ready to do so, "Jesus, I trust in You."

What I see more clearly now is this:

The ebb and flow of faith in seasons of suffering is part of the human experience.

But, these seasons are ultimately an invitation from the Lord to let Him meet you in all of it. And trust Him, knowing He has a plan that our minds will never fully comprehend on this earth.

However, we can find meaning and purpose in the suffering when we offer it to Him.

And it's exactly what my mission is: Helping Catholic women build self-awareness, discover psychological tools and traditions of our Catholic faith, that will help us say:

"Jesus, I trust in You."

Even in the hardest seasons.

You're overwhelmed because you don't know your lim You're overwhelmed because you don't know your limits.
And maybe... No one ever taught you how to discern them.

You love God.
You love your family.
You want to be generous.

So you say yes.
And yes.
And yes again.

Until your patience thins.
Your tone sharpens.
And resentment starts silently building deep in your heart.

Even the ocean has its boundaries.
It rises. It recedes. It returns in rhythm.

But when we refuse to recede...
When we override our capacity again and again -
We don't become holier.

We just become exhausted.

And exhaustion is where reactivity, guilt, and shame start to grow.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stretched too thin, or even growing resentment, it's not a spiritual failure.

It's probably a capacity issue.

In my upcoming workshop, I'm teaching you how to:
1. Discern your limits quickly
2. Say no to things outside them calmly
3. Tolerate the discomfort of disappointing others
4. Stop over-explaining yourself
5. Reclaim time and peace because of it

We all have limits. Even the ocean does!

And we can learn to honor them without guilt.

One of the quickest ways we hit resentment? Ignori One of the quickest ways we hit resentment?
Ignoring our physical health.

When I stop moving my body regularly, everything else in life feels heavier, less manageable - mentally and spiritually too.

Walking isn't the most glamorous...
Or most impressive...
But it is one of the easiest and biggest bang-for-your-buck forms of exercise!

Taking care of your body supports your emotions and your mind. A regulated body and a clearer mind helps us love others well.

Therefore, taking care of our bodies physically is essential because it helps us live out our vocations and love others better.

Sacrificing to the point of self-abandonment where you're no longer taking care of yourself actually makes us love others worse (this is when resentment forms).

What's one small way you can care for your body this week, so that you can care for your mind and love others well? 🤍

It actually makes sense that you want to please ot It actually makes sense that you want to please others.

It makes sense that you adjust how you show up depending on the setting.
And it especially makes sense inside the Church—where belonging, acceptance, and community matter so deeply.

In this clip, Maria Sweeney from the Guiding Star Network talks about something many Catholic women struggle with internally.

When we need acceptance in our church community, we may begin to limit parts of ourselves, soften our needs, or stay quiet and say "yes," all in an effort to stay connected.

That isn’t weakness.
It’s a human response to wanting to belong.

But over time, people-pleasing can pull us away from honesty, peace, and even the freedom God desires for us.

Inside the Holy “No” Summit, we’re having these conversations with compassion and clarity—so you can stay rooted in your faith without losing yourself.

And yet so many Catholic women feel guilty for even having a cup.

In this clip, Catherine DiNuzzo, author of The Catholic Guide Through Anxiety, uses the oxygen mask analogy to name something we desperately need to be reminded:

Caring for yourself is not selfish. It is absolutely necessary.

When you ignore your limits, anxiety grows.
When you honor them, peace permeates.

This is the kind of honest, faith-filled conversation we’re having inside the Holy “No” Summit—where Catholic women are learning how to stop people-pleasing, care for their nervous systems, and say yes to God without burning themselves out.

You're a human being created in the likeness of God the Father.
You don’t have to apologize for having limits.
He made us this way.

If you worry about being overlooked or forgotten—

There’s a reason.

In this clip, Mary, the Modern Catholic Mentor (@themoderncatholicmentor), names an often hidden driver behind people-pleasing:

The fear of not being seen, known, or valued.

For many of us, pleasing others became a way to stay visible. It's a way to make sure we matter, to secure connection, and to belong - especially in communities where being “good” or “helpful” feels like the safest way to be noticed.

Inside the Holy “No” Summit, we’re gently unpacking these deeper fears so you can stop striving for visibility and start resting in the truth that you are already seen and loved enormously by God the Father.

God doesn't ask us to neglect our body, emotions, or limits in order to love well. In fact, learning to prioritize what restores us is often the very thing that allows us to say a faithful, loving “no”—so you can say a wholehearted “yes” where God is actually calling you to spend your energy.

What if your anxiety about the future isn’t someth What if your anxiety about the future isn’t something to overcome, but it's actually something to bring to God?

Throughout salvation history, God asked His people to do really hard things - sometimes downright crazy-sounding things!

But He didn't need them to fully understand the unique mission He was giving them.

He asked for trust.
For a “yes,” even when the path was scary and unclear.

If you’re discerning, uncertain, or afraid right now, you feel these things for a reason.

You’re being invited to say "yes" to something from the Lord.

Hi, I'm Samantha 🤍 If you're new here or if it's b Hi, I'm Samantha 🤍
If you're new here or if it's been a while, I wanted to reintroduce myself.

I'm a licensed therapist and Catholic convert who helps other Catholic women navigate anxiety, stress + overwhelm, people-pleasing and other inner struggles that make it hard to experience God's peace and find joy in their present season of life.

For a long time, I believe that emotions were something you were supposed to push down - a useless part of our human experience.

But I discovered that God created our emotions for a purpose and they are often one way that He invites us closer to Him. And listening to our emotions and allowing them to exist as they are actually allows us to become better disciples of Christ!

That's where my work comes in.

I help women learn how to meet God in their emotions rather than avoid, suppress, or judge them, so faith and mental health become integrated as God designed them to be!

Here, we name emotions without shame, tend to inner wounds with courage and compassion, and grow more rooted and grounded in God's love - even in the middle of real life struggles.

If you're longing for more peace in your daily life, healthier relationships, joy in your present season, and a faith that feels truly lived out no matter what's going on in your life, you're in the right place.

I'm really glad you're here. 🤍

2026 is going to be a year of integration. We don't have to choose between our feelings and faith! They go together perfectly when we understand the psychology behind it all.

God's waiting to meet you here. And I can't wait to help you do so this year!
If you feel like you’re the one holding everything If you feel like you’re the one holding everything together this week… you’re not alone.

So many of us carry that quiet mental burden:
“If I don’t do it, it won’t get done.”
“If I’m not managing everything, it will all fall apart.”

And that pressure can sit so heavy on those of us who simply want to love others well.

But this holiday season, maybe God is inviting you to loosen your grip just a little.

To let some things be imperfect.
To let others help.
To let the house stay a little messier, the plans a little simpler, the schedule a little lighter.

Because the truth is… we don’t know how many more holidays we get with the people we love. 👀

No perfectly executed meal or flawlessly hosted gathering will ever matter more than the irreplaceable moments still in front of us.

Presence > perfection.
Connection > completion.
Love > “getting it all done.”

Let this be the year you practice letting go, so you can actually be here for the moments you will remember forever. ♥️

Fridays in our faith are traditionally a day of fa Fridays in our faith are traditionally a day of fasting and uniting our sufferings with Jesus.
What if today we took that to heart?
What if we intentionally fasted from the things that steal our peace and cloud our relationship with the Lord?

Maybe that means...
Fasting from self-criticism or comparison,
Fasting from replaying old regrets our things we wish we could change in the past,
Fasting from mindless phone scrolling when we're feeling anxious, worried, overwhelmed, or bored.

Or maybe it means something completely different for you - whatever is stealing your peace right now.

Each time you notice yourself turning toward that habit, pause and pray:

"Jesus, I give this to you. Jesus, I trust in You."

What could you fast from today that would bring you more calm and closeness to Him?
What might you want to fill that space with instead? 💙

Did you know your inner critic could actually be s Did you know your inner critic could actually be steering your decisions away from God’s will?

When we let thoughts of shame, inadequacy, or embarrassment run the show, we end up making decisions from fear instead of faith. But when we reframe those thoughts into ones rooted in truth and hope, we create space to move forward with courage, confidence, and peace—the way God invites us to. 🌿

Your inner dialogue matters. It shapes not only how you see yourself, but how you step into the calling God has placed on your heart.

Want practical ways to quiet your inner critic and reframe those thoughts so they align with God’s truth? I share more strategies, reflections, and encouragement in my free email newsletter every two weeks.

Have you felt distant from God lately? Maybe it Have you felt distant from God lately?

Maybe it seems like His voice has gone quiet. Or what previously worked for you for prayer time isn't quite working right now.

There's nothing wrong with you or what you're doing. It's normal to experience these more silent seasons of faith.

The truth is, He always has something to say to us, even if we can't hear Him like we used to.

His words are alive and waiting for you in Scripture.

Sometimes all it takes is opening your Bible, letting your eyes fall on a passage, and receiving the reminder that you need to read today.

Today, give yourself permission to pause. Open His Word. Let Him speak.

Are you wondering whether coaching or counseling i Are you wondering whether coaching or counseling is the best fit for you right now?

Counseling is powerful when you’re healing from the past, processing deep pain, or navigating a mental health concern.

Coaching, on the other hand, is designed for women who are ready to move forward, take action, and build a life aligned with their values and faith.

Both can include elements of the other, but the main focus is a bit different.

If you read through this list and thought, “That’s me!” — then coaching may be exactly what you need.

Send me a DM and let’s see if coaching is the right next step for you. I’d love to help you get unstuck and move toward peace, clarity, and confidence rooted in God’s love.
