A 6-MONTH CATHOLIC COACHING PROGRAM

Carrying Your Cross Without Losing Yourself

How to stay emotionally grounded and spiritually connected during life’s hardest seasons.

You believe in God. You still want to trust Him. You know your faith is real. But right now you feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected from joy, and consumed by your circumstances.

Book your free 30-minute consultation call

You never imagined life would feel this heavy.

And deep down, maybe you even feel a little abandoned by God.

You keep thinking:

  • “Why does it feel like I’m always going through hard things?”
  • “I know I should trust God more… So why do I feel so hopeless?”
  • “What if things never get better?”
  • “Why can’t I just enjoy my life again?”

And maybe the hardest part is this: You don’t even fully recognize yourself anymore.

You miss the version of you who felt: Hopeful, connected to God, emotionally stable, playful, peaceful, alive.

Instead, you find yourself:

  • spiraling in negative thoughts
  • emotionally overwhelmed
  • numbing with distractions
  • withdrawing from prayer
  • struggling to participate fully in your life
  • carrying pain that feels never-ending

You’ve probably tried:

  • therapy
  • podcasts
  • prayer
  • self-help
  • “offering it up”
  • positive thinking
  • trying harder to trust God

But nothing seems to fully help you alleviate the pain of your circumstances.

Dear sister in Christ, it is not because you’re weak or not trying hard enough. And certainly not because God has abandoned you.

You simply haven’t been taught how to carry pain and suffering well.

IMAGINE IF…

You no longer spiraled every time life hurt

Even if your circumstances remained difficult, imagine being able to:

  • recognize overwhelming thoughts before they consume you
  • regulate intense emotions without suppressing them
  • stop numbing and start understanding what your emotions are trying to communicate
  • bring your honest thoughts and feelings to God in prayer
  • reconnect with the Sacraments
  • experience joy again without feeling guilty for it
  • hold grief and hope at the same time
  • trust that God is still good even when life is painful
  • feel emotionally grounded instead of emotionally consumed

Not because your pain miraculously disappeared — but because your relationship to pain changed.

INTRODUCING

Carrying Your Cross Without Losing Yourself

A 6-month Catholic coaching program for women who are ready to stop spiraling and start learning how to remain emotionally grounded, spiritually connected, and open to joy again — even in the midst of painful life circumstances.

Through my signature framework that incorporates the beautiful Catholic faith with tools from my counseling background, you will learn how to understand and regulate your emotions, stop destructive spirals, and reconnect with God honestly.

You’ll also learn how to find meaning in pain and suffering, and reengage with your one precious life again.

This is not toxic positivity, and it is not pretending your pain doesn’t exist.

You will not be told to “just pray harder” or simply “offer it up” without tools to help you practically do so.

This is a structured, evidence-based, spiritually grounded process that helps you suffer less intensely, carry pain differently, and reconnect with hope, meaning, joy, and God in the process.

Is this program right for you?

This program is for you if…

  • You are navigating grief, betrayal, fertility struggles, a difficult marriage, unwanted singleness or divorce, caregiving, chronic stress, uncertainty, or prolonged painful circumstances.
  • You feel emotionally exhausted from constantly carrying hard things.
  • You know your faith is real, but are struggling to actually live it out right now.
  • You feel spiritually disconnected or distant from God.
  • You are tired of spiraling in negative thoughts.
  • You have already done therapy or personal growth work but still feel stuck.
  • You are ready to stop obsessing over what is outside of your control and begin changing what IS within your control.
  • You want practical emotional tools integrated with Catholic spirituality.
  • You deeply desire to enjoy your life again without denying your pain.

This program is not for…

  • Those looking for quick fixes or someone to rescue them from their pain - only Jesus can do that!
  • Those unwilling to engage emotionally or practice vulnerability. Unfortunately, these are required for ongoing healing and growth.
  • Those seeking only spiritual direction or theological education.
  • Those in severe psychiatric crisis requiring higher-level mental health care.
  • Those seeking traditional therapy or counseling.
  • Those unwilling to take responsibility for behavioral change with things that are within your control.
  • Those looking for purely secular coaching or aren't comfortable with traditions of the Catholic faith.

This program is educational and coaching-based in nature. It is not therapy, counseling, or spiritual direction – and it is not a replacement for appropriate medical treatment.

You do not have to carry this alone anymore, dear sister in Christ.

Why this program is different

Most women struggling with painful circumstances are told one of two things: “Just pray more,” or “Just change your mindset.”

But suffering impacts your emotions, nervous system, thoughts, behaviors, and relationship with God. You need support that addresses all of those pieces together.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 8 years of experience, I combine evidence-based emotional regulation tools, cognitive reframing strategies, behavioral change methods, and Catholic spirituality into one deeply integrated process.

Approaches used: DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)  •  CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)  •  Emotional regulation  •  Mindfulness  •  Distress tolerance  •  Meaning-making

I’ve personally walked through profound seasons of suffering myself, including childhood hardship and pregnancy loss. I know what it feels like to wonder: “Will life always feel this heavy?” And I also know it is 100% possible to still find joy despite it all and we can learn how to carry it differently. I pull out my therapy toolkit and use these same tools myself when life gets hard!

What if your circumstances never change?

Understandably, this may be your biggest fear. It’s true that some circumstances may not change quickly. But your relationship to painful things can change. You can:

  • stop spiraling
  • stop feeling consumed
  • stop abandoning yourself
  • reconnect with God
  • experience genuine moments of joy again

The cost of staying stuck

I say this out of a place of love and deep compassion, dear sister. If you relate to everything you’ve read so far and nothing changes, you risk spending years:

  • emotionally consumed and exhausted because of it
  • disconnected from the joy the Lord wants you to experience in your life
  • spiritually distant and possibly veering away from the Lord
  • constantly spiraling, taking up precious mental energy
  • missing the beauty still present in your one precious life

Not because you’re not trying hard enough — but because you haven’t yet learned the tools you need to help you carry pain differently.

Emotions are ALWAYS trying to communicate somethin Emotions are ALWAYS trying to communicate something to us, but they're not always helpful to act on in the moment...

Some thoughts this morning on when acting on our strong feelings in the moment are actually not helpful, but they ARE communicating to us something really important.

For me, it was about my highest priority values and a little disappointment about something not looking like what I thought it would look like.

And after you listen, you'll see I can still hold gratitude at the same time because I chose to "ride the wave" of an emotion that would not have been helpful to act on in the moment!

The world needs what you have to offer it, dear friend. Let's get you out from underneath that heavy burden holding you back. 🙏💙
12 years ago yesterday, I entered the Catholic chu 12 years ago yesterday, I entered the Catholic church and received the sacraments of first Communion and Confirmation. 🙏

Every year, this day makes me pause.
Because when I look back on my faith journey since then... It definitely has not been linear.

There have been moments of deep closeness of Jesus, especially in the Eucharist. These were moments where trusting Him felt easy and natural, almost overflowing.

And there have also been seasons of serious pain and suffering. Everything felt heavy, confusing, and isolating. These were moments where I questioned God and began to feel a divide in my relationship with Him.

I thought, "How could a loving God allow such pain in my life?" My human brain couldn't understand.

I've lived both of these.

I've had seasons where my pain led me to pulling away, where it felt easier to shut down and cope with unhealthy things, than to bring it to Him.

And I've had seasons where, by grace and my education, I learned to bring everything to Him instead. I figured out how to offer my suffering to Him and say before I even felt fully ready to do so, "Jesus, I trust in You."

What I see more clearly now is this:

The ebb and flow of faith in seasons of suffering is part of the human experience.

But, these seasons are ultimately an invitation from the Lord to let Him meet you in all of it. And trust Him, knowing He has a plan that our minds will never fully comprehend on this earth.

However, we can find meaning and purpose in the suffering when we offer it to Him.

And it's exactly what my mission is: Helping Catholic women build self-awareness, discover psychological tools and traditions of our Catholic faith, that will help us say:

"Jesus, I trust in You."

Even in the hardest seasons.

You're overwhelmed because you don't know your lim You're overwhelmed because you don't know your limits.
And maybe... No one ever taught you how to discern them.

You love God.
You love your family.
You want to be generous.

So you say yes.
And yes.
And yes again.

Until your patience thins.
Your tone sharpens.
And resentment starts silently building deep in your heart.

Even the ocean has its boundaries.
It rises. It recedes. It returns in rhythm.

But when we refuse to recede...
When we override our capacity again and again -
We don't become holier.

We just become exhausted.

And exhaustion is where reactivity, guilt, and shame start to grow.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stretched too thin, or even growing resentment, it's not a spiritual failure.

It's probably a capacity issue.

In my upcoming workshop, I'm teaching you how to:
1. Discern your limits quickly
2. Say no to things outside them calmly
3. Tolerate the discomfort of disappointing others
4. Stop over-explaining yourself
5. Reclaim time and peace because of it

We all have limits. Even the ocean does!

One of the quickest ways we hit resentment? Ignori One of the quickest ways we hit resentment?
Ignoring our physical health.

When I stop moving my body regularly, everything else in life feels heavier, less manageable - mentally and spiritually too.

Walking isn't the most glamorous...
Or most impressive...
But it is one of the easiest and biggest bang-for-your-buck forms of exercise!

Taking care of your body supports your emotions and your mind. A regulated body and a clearer mind helps us love others well.

Therefore, taking care of our bodies physically is essential because it helps us live out our vocations and love others better.

Sacrificing to the point of self-abandonment where you're no longer taking care of yourself actually makes us love others worse (this is when resentment forms).

What's one small way you can care for your body this week, so that you can care for your mind and love others well? 🤍

It actually makes sense that you want to please ot It actually makes sense that you want to please others.

It makes sense that you adjust how you show up depending on the setting.
And it especially makes sense inside the Church—where belonging, acceptance, and community matter so deeply.

In this clip, Maria Sweeney from the Guiding Star Network talks about something many Catholic women struggle with internally.

When we need acceptance in our church community, we may begin to limit parts of ourselves, soften our needs, or stay quiet and say "yes," all in an effort to stay connected.

That isn’t weakness.
It’s a human response to wanting to belong.

But over time, people-pleasing can pull us away from honesty, peace, and even the freedom God desires for us.

Inside the Holy “No” Summit, we’re having these conversations with compassion and clarity—so you can stay rooted in your faith without losing yourself.

“You can’t pour from an empty cup” And yet so many “You can’t pour from an empty cup”
And yet so many Catholic women feel guilty for even having a cup.

In this clip, Catherine DiNuzzo, author of The Catholic Guide Through Anxiety, uses the oxygen mask analogy to name something we desperately need to be reminded:

Caring for yourself is not selfish. It is absolutely necessary.

When you ignore your limits, anxiety grows.
When you honor them, peace permeates.

This is the kind of honest, faith-filled conversation we’re having inside the Holy “No” Summit—where Catholic women are learning how to stop people-pleasing, care for their nervous systems, and say yes to God without burning themselves out.

You're a human being created in the likeness of God the Father.
You don’t have to apologize for having limits.
He made us this way.

If God needed rest, how much more do we?!

If you over-explain, over-give, or over-function…
If you worry about being overlooked or forgotten—

There’s a reason.

In this clip, Mary, the Modern Catholic Mentor (@themoderncatholicmentor), names an often hidden driver behind people-pleasing:

The fear of not being seen, known, or valued.

For many of us, pleasing others became a way to stay visible. It's a way to make sure we matter, to secure connection, and to belong - especially in communities where being “good” or “helpful” feels like the safest way to be noticed.

Inside the Holy “No” Summit, we’re gently unpacking these deeper fears so you can stop striving for visibility and start resting in the truth that you are already seen and loved enormously by God the Father.

God doesn't ask us to neglect our body, emotions, or limits in order to love well. In fact, learning to prioritize what restores us is often the very thing that allows us to say a faithful, loving “no”—so you can say a wholehearted “yes” where God is actually calling you to spend your energy.

What if your anxiety about the future isn’t someth What if your anxiety about the future isn’t something to overcome, but it's actually something to bring to God?

Throughout salvation history, God asked His people to do really hard things - sometimes downright crazy-sounding things!

But He didn't need them to fully understand the unique mission He was giving them.

He asked for trust.

If you’re discerning, uncertain, or afraid right now, you feel these things for a reason.

Hi, I'm Samantha 🤍 If you're new here or if it's b Hi, I'm Samantha 🤍
If you're new here or if it's been a while, I wanted to reintroduce myself.

I'm a licensed therapist and Catholic convert who helps other Catholic women navigate anxiety, stress + overwhelm, people-pleasing and other inner struggles that make it hard to experience God's peace and find joy in their present season of life.

For a long time, I believe that emotions were something you were supposed to push down - a useless part of our human experience.

But I discovered that God created our emotions for a purpose and they are often one way that He invites us closer to Him. And listening to our emotions and allowing them to exist as they are actually allows us to become better disciples of Christ!

That's where my work comes in.

I help women learn how to meet God in their emotions rather than avoid, suppress, or judge them, so faith and mental health become integrated as God designed them to be!

Here, we name emotions without shame, tend to inner wounds with courage and compassion, and grow more rooted and grounded in God's love - even in the middle of real life struggles.

If you're longing for more peace in your daily life, healthier relationships, joy in your present season, and a faith that feels truly lived out no matter what's going on in your life, you're in the right place.

I'm really glad you're here. 🤍

2026 is going to be a year of integration. We don't have to choose between our feelings and faith! They go together perfectly when we understand the psychology behind it all.

God's waiting to meet you here. And I can't wait to help you do so this year!
If you feel like you’re the one holding everything If you feel like you’re the one holding everything together this week… you’re not alone.

So many of us carry that quiet mental burden:
“If I don’t do it, it won’t get done.”
“If I’m not managing everything, it will all fall apart.”

And that pressure can sit so heavy on those of us who simply want to love others well.

But this holiday season, maybe God is inviting you to loosen your grip just a little.

To let some things be imperfect.
To let others help.
To let the house stay a little messier, the plans a little simpler, the schedule a little lighter.

Because the truth is… we don’t know how many more holidays we get with the people we love. 👀

No perfectly executed meal or flawlessly hosted gathering will ever matter more than the irreplaceable moments still in front of us.

Presence > perfection.
Connection > completion.
Love > “getting it all done.”

Let this be the year you practice letting go, so you can actually be here for the moments you will remember forever. ♥️

Fridays in our faith are traditionally a day of fa Fridays in our faith are traditionally a day of fasting and uniting our sufferings with Jesus.
What if today we took that to heart?
What if we intentionally fasted from the things that steal our peace and cloud our relationship with the Lord?

Maybe that means...
Fasting from self-criticism or comparison,
Fasting from replaying old regrets our things we wish we could change in the past,
Fasting from mindless phone scrolling when we're feeling anxious, worried, overwhelmed, or bored.

Or maybe it means something completely different for you - whatever is stealing your peace right now.

Each time you notice yourself turning toward that habit, pause and pray:

"Jesus, I give this to you. Jesus, I trust in You."

What could you fast from today that would bring you more calm and closeness to Him?
What might you want to fill that space with instead? 💙
